They shared their experiences of competing at the recent World Championships in China, where they narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-finals after a very close quarter-final against the USA.

The pupils enjoyed hearing about life as an elite athlete and, in particular, the importance of resilience, perseverance and learning from setbacks. They also spoke about the benefits of keeping active from a young age and developing a love of sport and physical activity.

A huge thank you to both Natacha and Chris for taking the time to visit us, share their inspiring stories and encourage our pupils to aim high, stay active and never give up! We wish them both the very best of luck in their next challenge as they compete for a place on the team to represent Team GB in Coastal Beach Sprint Rowing at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, an exciting new rowing discipline making its Olympic debut!
