Policies & Safeguarding
Safeguarding at Les Landes School
Safeguarding sits at the centre of life at Les Landes School, guiding every decision we make to ensure that children and staff learn, work, and play in a safe, supportive environment. Our policies follow the standards set by the Government of Jersey and outline clear procedures for identifying concerns, responding promptly, and working closely with families and external agencies when needed. All staff receive regular safeguarding and child‑protection training so they understand their responsibilities and feel confident in recognising and reporting issues. We promote a culture where pupils know they can speak to trusted adults, where wellbeing is prioritised, and where respectful relationships are modelled every day. Through strong policies, vigilant practice, and a shared commitment to keeping children safe, Les Landes School maintains a secure and nurturing environment for everyone in our community.
