Well done to Y6 who entered the first Makaton class of the Eisteddfod. Thanks to Mrs Betts for championing this in our school. Congratulations to Y2 who performed a song in the British Sign Language class, supported by Mrs Tremeer. Our children understand why inclusion matters and we are very proud of them.
Julie and Philip talked to us about why Kafunjo Community Project needs our support.
So much imaginative play happening in our loose parts area on the field.
Pudsey visited classes and children asked him questions. He likes rugby, his favorite food is honey and he is happy we are helping to raise money for Children in Need.
Year 6 visited the War Tunnels this week as part of learning about World War II. We learnt why the tunnels were built and about the people who built them, aswell as the conditions they had to endure.
We also learnt the stories behind the faces of the occupation. The children showed our school values during the trip and represented our community brilliantly.
