Appreciation Tree

This term, we have introduced an Appreciation Tree in school to help children reflect on and recognise the many things they can be grateful for in their lives.
Children are encouraged to add notes that show appreciation not only for kindness and positive actions, but also for everyday things such as their education, their families, friendships, food, and the support they receive at home and at school.
The Appreciation Tree links closely to our MyHappymind focus for the Spring Term, which helps children understand gratitude, develop positive emotions, and recognise how noticing what we have, supports wellbeing and emotional resilience.
By creating regular opportunities for children to pause, reflect and express gratitude, we are helping them develop a positive mindset, stronger emotional awareness, and a deeper sense of belonging within our school community.
We look forward to seeing our Appreciation Tree continue to grow throughout the term.
