'British Science Week' 

Budding young scientists have been enjoying taking part in a range of experiments led by Mrs Hopkins during the week of 11th March 2024

Including dusting for fingerprints, hunting for mini beasts and making toothpaste. This short clip is of the experiment to show how heat rises when lighting paper. 

 

'Dementia Jersey Assembly' 

A member of the charity 'Dementia Jersey' has been talking and answering questions about Dementia during our Assembly on 24th January  #uncrc article 12. 

'Seizures and Epilepsy Assembly' 

Our Pupils have been talking about Epilepsy during our Assembly on 19th July #uncrc articles 2, 3, 5, 6,12, 13, 18, 24, 29 & 31.

'Shining a Light on Creativity'

Our Reception children have been included in the celebration of the Expressive Arts and Design in the Early Years Foundation Stage, showcasing what young children are able to achieve through high quality interactions that promote their imagination, originality and self-expression.

'GAND Syndrome' Year 3 Assembly 

Year 3 have been talking in assembly on 7th June about GAND Syndrome. #uncrc articles 2, 3, 5, 6,12, 13, 18, 24, 29 & 31. 

 

'Crowning Glory'

His Excellency Vice-Admiral Jerry Kyd and Dr Karen Kyd visited Les Landes School to meet the children on 4th May 2023 as part of the Bailiff's office 'Crowning Glory' project to celebrate the Coronation. 

 

 

'Map of Wonders' - Year 6 Coin hoard video 

Year 6 took part in an island wide schools’ project in partnership with ArtHouse Jersey ‘Map of Wonders’ . The project focused on wellbeing, art and design, global perspectives and the uniqueness of Jersey. The recent coin hoards inspired them to create their own journey of exploration.
