Staffing for September
Following on from the announcement that Lisa Harber will be the Acting Headteacher at Les Landes in September, we have additional staffing news to share.
Miss Ashleigh Cummins will be joining us from Grands Vaux School for a year, to cover Mrs Hopkins parental leave. Miss Cummins is an experienced teacher, and currently works for the NSPCC, too.
Mrs White is returning from her successful treatment and Mrs Hibbs is also returning from her parental leave. They will move into Y4 as Miss McMenamin is taking a one-year career break next year. We also have changes to support staff, including Miss Roberts returning from parental leave.
The class teachers will be as follows:
Reception - Mrs Courtness
Year 1 - Miss Cummins
Year 2 - Ms Walker
Year 3 - Mrs Turner
Year 4 - Mrs White and Mrs Hibbs
Year 5 - Mrs Price
Year 6 - Ms Creswell
The children will have the opportunity to spend the day in their new class, with their new teacher, on Thursday 2nd July. Y6 will be at their secondary schools on this day. In the meantime, please be reassured that staff have already begun the transition meetings so that they will have the information they need about all children.
