JB Puffins recently welcomed its first review from the Childcare and Early Years Service (CEYS), and the feedback was extremely positive. The review highlighted the club’s warm, welcoming atmosphere, strong relationships between staff and children, and the wide range of play opportunities available both indoors and outdoors. Children were observed to be happy, confident and fully engaged, enjoying everything from construction and creative activities to sports, scooters and water play. Parents, children and staff all spoke positively about the setting, with many commenting on the caring team and the inclusive environment. The review also recognised the club’s effective safeguarding arrangements and high standards of care, with only two minor administrative actions identified. Overall, the report reflects the dedication of Angie and her team in providing a fun, safe and child-centred after-school experience - an asset to our school!
Celebrate our Y6 leavers.
All parents are invited to the playground at 2.30pm on Thursday 16th to support the Y6 class as they leave the school via the red carpet. The whole school will be out to cheer them on. On Friday 17th, Y6 will be out for the day on their bikes. They will return to school at 2.45pm and again, if you would like to support them, please wait by the blue gates and they will cycle in for the last time. They will make their way to the field, where the whole school will applaud their lap of honour.

Well done to our Y5 and Y6 swimmers who took on the challenge of the swimarathon, raising money for local charities. Their confidence, support for one another and positive attitude was so lovely to see! The swimmers raised an incredible £760!
