This week we have been analysing the progress of every child in reading, writing and maths. The end of year outcomes for each class are strong, as is the average percentage working at greater depth. Many children have made more than one years progress, too. In September I will share more details but I would like to thank you for supporting your child and working with us to secure the best outcomes for them. I would also like to thank the staff who work tirelessly to monitor progress, close gaps, support and challenge. It's what they (and you) do everyday that makes a difference over time.

Eat Safe assessment
UNCRC Article #24
Last week we had an unannounced inspection of the Servery by Environmental Health. They found the premises very clean and the staff were knowledgeable. For this reason, the Servery was awarded a 5-Star – Excellent Eat Safe Rating. We are required to display this rating in the window of the main entrance.

A Cycling Crocodile celebration - Wednesday 16th July
Let's finish the year with our largest ever cycling crocodile. If you haven't joined us before, this is an opportunity to come along. Y5 has now completed Bikeability and Y6 ride independently, so we are hoping to get as many riders as we can to celebrate our last official ride of the year. Save the date and support us if you can!
Dates
All the key dates for the next academic year have been added to the newsletter. The first one to note is Meet the Teacher on September 9th at 6pm. This is an opportunity to hear about our achievements this year and our priorities for the year ahead, along with the chance to meet your child's new teacher and understand what you can do to support them at home.
An assembly full of knowledge and more! From the formation of mountains, to pioneering women who changed the world, with English Literature and French too. Y5 shared with us the importance of self-belief, belief in others, friendship, perseverance and compassion.
